Alice Beecroft is Senior Director of Global Strategy & Partnerships at Yahoo DSP, where she is part of the Global Strategy team leading the development of Yahoo’s omnichannel DSP across non-US markets. Her team drives DSP Product Strategy, Product Marketing, and Go-to-Market execution — shaping how Yahoo’s platform evolves and connects advertisers with audiences across CTV, Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), Audio, and emerging channels like Retail Media. 

Alice also oversees the identification and integration of new data and measurement partners into the Yahoo DSP, strengthening its capabilities and competitive positioning globally. 

With 20 years of experience on the buy-side in the digital advertising sector, Alice has held senior roles at AOL, Millennial Media, and Burst Media, bringing deep expertise in programmatic and omnichannel media strategy. 

Beyond her commercial role, Alice leads Yahoo’s Employee Resource Group for NeuroDiversity in the London office. She is a passionate advocate for awareness and inclusion, working to reduce barriers to entry and champion initiatives that support people with Neurodiverse minds and broader mental health.

Inside Work 

This year is my 22nd working in media. Believe it or not my first role in 2003 was as a Classified Sales Executive at Hearst. Fast forward fifteen years and I was back at the Mothership leading Trading, Agency Sales, Digital and Programmatic Sales, Regional Sales and Print Revenue.  

I am responsible for managing diverse revenue streams and agency and client trading. I manage relationships at a senior level and how we work with partners in a mutually beneficial way.  

It involves lots of meetings, lots of negotiations, and lots of numbers. I am on the Senior Leadership Team which means I also manage and support the whole sales team.  

I’m also very proud to be a Diversity and Inclusion Lead and we are working hard to improve representation and ensure everybody feels included at Hearst.  

Prior to this I have worked at Northern and Shell who publish the Daily Express, Star, and OK! Magazine and several media agencies.  

Outside Work 

After reading in Women’s Health that I should be lifting weights I have joined a local gym and enjoy training a few times a week. I’ve been listening to lots of podcasts whilst training  and like to learn about new things or hear lots of different opinions. My current favourite is ‘The Rest is Politics’ as it quickly gets me up to speed on current affairs.  

At home I’ve been slowly turning my house greener, I’m on a mission to get a sustainable version of all the usual household and beauty products.  

I’m married to a fellow media professional, and we have an twelve-year-old son. This means I’m pretty up to speed on Fortnite, FIFA and Crystal Palace football team.
